DNA Analyzing Computer treats cancer

Top News Article | Reuters.com: "Scientists have come a step closer to creating a minuscule DNA computer that may one day be able to spot diseases like cancer from inside the body and release a drug to treat it.
Professor Ehud Shapiro and researchers at Israel's Weizmann Institute constructed the world's smallest biomolecular computer a few years ago.
Now they have programmed it to analyse biological information to detect and treat prostate cancer and a form of lung cancer in laboratory experiments."

Google IPO

Google has submitted their Form S-1, to initiate their IPO. This is the initial step in them becoming a public company.

Reading the document, they are going to try to not change their business model much with the IPO, and have warned investors about their style.

Reuters.com reports: "CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. (Reuters) - Forty-five years in the making and 24 hours late, NASA launched a $700 million satellite into orbit on Tuesday to test Albert Einstein's general theory of relativity.
The Gravity Probe B, one of the most precise scientific instruments every built, was carried aloft by a Boeing Co. Delta 2 at 12:57 p.m. EDT from the rocket range at California's Vandenberg Air Force Base.
A day earlier, launch directors from Boeing and NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida scrubbed the launch in the final minutes of the countdown when there was a problem loading software."

The Fires of Canneto di Caronia: "ROME (Reuters) - A Sicilian town is struggling to work out why dozens of household items from fridge-freezers to furniture keep mysteriously bursting into flames, terrifying locals and sparking theories of demonic intervention.
Since mid-January dozens of electrical goods and pieces of furniture have spontaneously gone up in flames, causing huge damage in Canneto di Caronia, a small town perched on the Mediterranean island's rocky coast.
'I've seen unplugged electrical cables burst into flames with my own eyes, but I just can't explain it,' a local policeman who did not want to be named said Wednesday. 'I've never seen anything like it.' "
